SOMTA Tools was founded in 1954, specializes in the design and manufacture of standard and custom tools for the industrial markets. Unlike tapered pipe taps, NPS hand taps produce parallel threads, making them suitable for applications where sealing is achieved using gaskets, O-rings, or mechanical fittings rather than thread interference.
