KCT HSS-CO Roughing End mills are made from premium German Raw Material. Cobalt Provides better wear resistance, higher hot hardness and toughness than high speed steel (HSS) end mills. There is very little chipping or microchipping under severe cutting conditions, allowing the tool to run 10% faster than HSS, resulting in excellent metal removal rates
KCT HSS-CO Roughing End mills is a cost-effective solution to realize fast feeding. KCT HSS-CO Roughing End mills with TIALN coating are designed to remove large amounts of metal quickly and more efficiently. TIALN coating enhance surface hardness of the tool to around 87HRC with an excellent hot hardness working temperature and high oxidation temperature. Combined the Coarse tooth and TIALN coating, KCT roughing end mills will be able to remove large chips for heavy cuts, deep slotting and rapid stock removal on low to medium carbon steel & alloy steel.
